Luxury self-catering cottage apartments

Luxury self-catering cottage apartments with shared facilities offering peace and harmony for families, country lovers and... lovers

Quirky, comfortable, unique - Fingals cottage apartments are all of these. There is something ancient, intangible & relaxing in the magic of this place. Built around lush gardens in a sheltered, sun-drenched valley close to the Dart river, this is South Devon at its very best. The owners, Richard and Sheila Johnston, live close by in the rambling old farmhouse but leave you to get on with it.

Each cottage is completely different and they vary in sleeping accommodation from 2 - 6 people. Larger groups, who want to be close but not on top of each other, can rent separate units and share the common areas. Two cottages - The Lower Mill House and Upper Mill House, work particularly well together for two families or one large family.

Included in the price for all of the cottages are a conservatory-housed swimming pool, a beautifully manicured grass tennis court, a croquet lawn, numerous outdoor seating areas, a sauna, a gym and a games room with snooker, table football and ping pong on the terrace.

Mingle with other guests in the sociable bar and communal sitting room in the old manor farmhouse and enjoy a delicious dinner (available two evenings a week) in the restaurant. If you feel like taking it easy we can provide gourmet main courses which you can cook in your own kitchen. Fingals is family friendly, child friendly, dog friendly and, well... just plain friendly!

We look forward to welcoming you.
